Last Updated: February 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better browsing experience, and supply information to the website owners. Cookies allow the Platform to remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your experience over time.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as web beacons, pixel tags, and local storage objects that function similarly to cookies.

The NHSCC Learning Management System at lms.nhscc.in uses cookies for the following purposes:

5. Cookie Duration

Cookies used on our Platform fall into two categories based on their lifespan:

  • Session Cookies: These are temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. They are used to maintain your login session and CSRF protection.
  • Persistent Cookies: These remain on your device for a set period (ranging from 30 days to 2 years depending on the cookie). They are used to remember your preferences and provide analytics data.
